Prices from Tuesday at the Keady Market.

At the Keady livestock sale on Tuesday, 208 head of stockers, feeders, cows and bulls were on offer.

All classes of stocker cattle sold on good demand at steady prices.

Steer calves up to 600 pounds sold up to a dollar 39 per pound and heifers to a dollar 16.

Steers from 600 to 800 pounds sold up to a dollar 12 per pound and the same range in heifers traded to a dollar 8.

Yearling steers up to 1000 pounds sold from 91 to 95 cents.

Cull cows sold at higher prices, from 40 to 50 cents per pound and cull bulls sold up to 65.

At the hog barn 78 dollar calves were on offer, selling at slightly higher prices.

Holstein male calves weighing over 100 pounds sold from 60 to 145 dollars apiece.

Lightweight market lambs sold to 2 dollars and 35 cents per pound.

At the small animal sale, Lavender Guinea Fowl sold up to 11 dollars per bird while Quail stopped at 3.

Dwarf rabbits sold at 3 dollars each while mature rabbits topped at 9.
