Prices from Tuesday at the Keady market.

At the Keady Livestock sale on Tuesday -- 754 head of stocker and feeder cattle, cows and bulls were on offer.

A good offering of local calves sold with strong buyer demand at fully steady prices.

Steer calves up to 600 pounds sold to a dollar 94 per pound and heifers to a dollar 65.

Steers from 600 to 800 pounds sold from a dollar 25 to a dollar 59 per pound and the same range in heifers traded to a dollar 35.

Yearling steers 800 to 11 hundred pounds sold from a dollar 19 to a dollar 38 and heifers to a dollar 29.

Cull cows sold at a range from 50 to 66 cents per pound and cull bulls up to 90.

At the hog barn, 44 dollar calves were on offer, selling at steady prices.

Holstein male calves weighing 100 pounds sold from 50 to 120 dollars apiece.

Market lambs 50 to 64 pounds sold to a dollar and 91 cents per pound while nanny goats sold up to 100 dollars per head.

At the small animal sale -- Buff Bantie Poultry sold up to six dollars a piece while Guinea Fowl reached five.

Young Doe Rabbits traded up to 7 dollars each while Turkey Hens topped at 9.
