Opioid Working Group Being Setup
The opioid crisis continues in Canada, more police are having to use supplied Naloxone kits.
The opioid crisis continues in Canada and more and more police are having to use supplied Naloxone kits to save lives.
Nottawasaga OPP say there is a concern for professional agencies and groups, as well as with the general public with overuse and abuse of opioids like Fentanyl, Heroin, and Oxycodone.
A Nottawasaga Opioid Advisory Working Group has recently been formed address this concern.
The group is made up of local police professional health and addictions agencies who are regularly involved or come in contact with members of the community that are a opioid users.
They'll be working together on getting a better understanding about the use and misuse of the drugs.
