OPP are hoping people adjust their driving habits overnight and into Friday morning around southern Ontario.
With the threat of this rain changing to freezing rain tonight and early tomorrow, police are hoping people use extra caution on the roads.
Wellington County OPP say they responded to 28 reports of vehicle collisions, stranded motorists, and traffic hazards within the last 24 hours.
OPP say even though the temperature is mild, the roads may not be as clear as they look.
They say a sudden thaw often leaves roads wet, which could actually be black ice.
