It's about two and half weeks until Christmas and Canada Post is not guaranteeing the delivery of letters and packages.
The Crown Corporation has stopped its delivery guarantee, saying the significant backlog after rotating strikes is causing major delays.
Over a week ago, the federal government passed back to work legislation to try and get things delivered for the holidays.
But a Canada Post spokesman says they have three times the number of parcels and mail that they would typically see at this busy time of year.
The postal workers union says they believe Canada Post is exaggerating the backlogs.
