The Town of Orangeville has received federal support for a sustainability plan.
They're getting $46,400 the Green Municipal Fund to develop a Sustainable Neighbourhood Action Plan.
It will used for 159 new initiatives for green innovation, climate change flexibility, and infrastructure planning and will be matched through cash and contributions by the municipality.
The end result will be a comprehensive plan promoting and guiding the Town’s strategies, goals and targets for a sustainable future.
The plan is expected to be completed by June of 2019.
