The new build at 600 Main Street now has the green light.
Shelburne Council was satisfied with the provisions and conditions presented during last night's meeting.
The big issue council had with the location was getting into and out of the area.
The builder's solution was to add a median at the entrance allowing only for right turns into and out of the subdivision.
For those wanting to head east on Main Street, they'll have to use Centennial Road.
Traffic flow onto Industrial Road and Centennial will be addressed in the future when Industrial Road is realigned to meet County Road 124.
Other conditions included additional parking spaces at the north end of the property to avoid having people park on side streets near the development.
Using local contractors was also an important part of allowing the development.
A representative for the builder explained that in a previous build, roughly 75% of contractors hired were local to that area.
With the site plan approval passing, council will now wait for a more detailed outline of the build.
